Localities deploy tasks for the new school year

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 24-25, localities held a summary of the 2016-2017 school year, deployed directions, tasks, and solutions for the 2017-2018 school year, and honored excellent students and teachers of the 2016-2017 school year.

* Last school year, the districtQuynh LuuThere are 806 junior high school students who are excellent students at the district level, 57 students are excellent students at the provincial level; 3 students are excellent students at the national IOE exam; 37 students scored 27 points or higher; 68/105 public schools meet national standards.

At the conference, 2 individuals including Mr. Le Thanh Hien - Deputy Head of the District Education and Training Department, Mr. Truong Tuan Hai - Specialist of the District Education and Training Department received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister for their outstanding achievements in education and training from the 2011-2012 school year to the 2015-2016 school year, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland; 13 collectives were awarded the title of excellent labor collective by the Provincial People's Committee; 2 collectives and 3 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On this occasion, Nghe An Provincial Social Insurance also awarded certificates of merit to 3 groups and 3 individuals outside the industry who have performed well in health insurance for students; Quynh Luu District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 48 groups achieving advanced labor.

As a result, last school year, Yen Son Primary School was awarded the emulation flag by the Ministry of Education and Training, 1 school was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Education and Training, 1 unit was awarded the emulation flag by the Provincial People's Committee, 6 schools were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee, 22 schools were recognized as "Excellent Labor Collective" by the Provincial People's Committee, 5 teachers were recognized as provincial-level emulation fighters and many individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit.

* In the 2016-2017 school year, the rate of student mobilization at all levels of the districtQuy Chaureached 98.2%; children assessed according to the preschool education program met the requirements of 96.8%; 66 excellent students of the province, quality reached 97.2%; excellent teachers at all levels were 568/896, an increase of 4.1% compared to the previous school year.

To ensure facilities for teaching and learning, Quy Chau district has built 24 new classrooms, 3 functional buildings, renovated 9 classrooms and other auxiliary works, with an investment cost of 25 billion VND.

At the ceremony, the Provincial People's Committee awarded the emulation flag of the province for the 2016-2017 school year to Chau Binh Primary School; awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 6 individuals with excellent provincial labor; and awarded the title of Provincial Emulation Fighter to Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Huyen - Principal of Chau Hoi 1 Primary School.

On this occasion, the District People's Committee allocated 92 million VND from the district budget to reward teachers with excellent students; excellent teachers; and excellent students at all levels.

* Last school year, the districtNghia DanThe secondary and high school graduation rate is over 98%, the average score for admission to grade 10 is 27.5 points (an increase of 3.8 points compared to last year); there are 287 excellent students in the district, 36 excellent students in the province; 212 teachers are excellent in the district, 32 teachers are excellent in the province; 15 new classrooms and functional rooms have been built with a total budget of 10 billion VND, up to now the whole district has 46/69 schools (accounting for 66.7%) meeting national standards.

On this occasion, the district Department of Education and Training and 2 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Minister of Education and Training; the district Department of Education and Training and 12 schools were recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as Excellent Labor Collective, 2 provincial-level emulation fighters; 5 collectives and 24 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
