Units and localities pay tribute to heroic martyrs

* This morning,Delegation of Division 1 officers of the Lao People's Revolutionary Armyled by Major Phom Kham-In Tha Vong and cadresRegiment 335, Division 324to offer flowers and incense at the Vietnam - Laos International Cemetery.

Here, the delegation offered incense at Uncle Ho's Temple, offered flowers at the Monument to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the noble international cause and the cause of national liberation, and burned incense at the graves of the soldiers of Division 324 who fought and sacrificed in Laos and are resting here.

Before the heroic martyrs, the Delegation expressed their gratitude and infinite thanks for their great sacrifices for the liberation of the two brotherly nations of Vietnam and Laos.

* On this occasion,Quynh Luu district working delegationcame to offer flowers and incense at Truong Bon historical relic site in My Son commune, Do Luong district and Vietnam - Laos cemetery in Anh Son district.

Before offering flowers and incense at the Vietnam - Laos Cemetery, the delegation went to Truong Bon Historical Site to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs. Here, thousands of cadres, soldiers, youth volunteers, transport workers, militiamen and self-defense forces were injured and many heroically fell.

At the Vietnam - Laos Cemetery, respectfully offering incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs, the delegation pledged to continue to strive and better fulfill the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and strengthening the building of the Party and organizations in the political system to become increasingly stronger.

At the ceremony, delegates, youth union members and relatives offered flowers and incense, expressing their respect and gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation. At the same time, they vowed to continue promoting the nation's revolutionary tradition, constantly working, training and striving to build Que Phong district to develop day by day, not letting down the heroic martyrs' efforts.

On this occasion, district leaders and units and localities also visited and presented gifts to families of martyrs and wounded soldiers in Que Phong district.

The ceremony took place in a solemn and respectful atmosphere with the participation of district leaders, heads of departments, branches, organizations, hundreds of youth union members and children, armed forces soldiers and a large number of people of the district.

Respectfully bowing before each grave, the Party Committee and people of Nam Dan district promise to let you rest in peace in the bosom of Mother Earth. Your noble sacrifice will forever be an immortal epic, a source of pride for the homeland and country so that today's young generation will follow in the footsteps of their fathers and brothers, vowing to devote their youth to building the country and homeland and determined to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our beloved Fatherland./.
