(Baonghean.vn) - To share the difficulties with people in flooded areas, units, businesses, and charitable organizations have joined hands to support people with the gesture of "helping each other".

* On October 23, the Military Command of Quynh Luu district coordinated with the district Red Cross Society to visit and give gifts to households affected by floods in Duc Giang commune, Vu Quang district, Ha Tinh province.

The Military Command of Quynh Luu District coordinated with the Red Cross Society of the district to organize a march to the flood-hit areas, presenting 250 gifts (each gift worth 300,000 VND) to households that suffered heavy losses in Duc Giang Commune. The gifts were taken from the “Save for Yourself, Save for the Poor” fund of the Military Command of the district and from the movement to raise funds and support flood-affected people in the Central region by collectives and individuals in the district.

The visit and gift-giving activities of the Quynh Luu District Military Forces have contributed to sharing and encouraging people in the flood-hit areas to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and start production soon. In particular, it has promoted the spirit of mutual love and support of cadres, soldiers and people of Nghe An, continuing the tradition of hard work and solidarity of the people of Nghe - Tinh province in the past and the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh today.

To help people in Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Binh provinces overcome difficulties and losses caused by floods, the Nghe Tinh Business Association expanded in Da Nang has launched a fundraising campaign for members. After nearly a week of launching, more than 600 million VND has been raised.

In Hung Nguyen district, representatives of Nghe Tinh Business Association in Da Nang presented 100 gifts, worth 1 million VND each, to 100 households that suffered heavy losses in the flood.

After nearly a week of launching, the Nghe An Joint Press Club has connected many kind-hearted people such as Vinh International Hospital, An Phu Company, Thanh Phat, Dien Kim Association, Nghe An Construction Corporation, Tuan Loc Company... to join hands to support people affected by floods in Quang Binh with a total value of 250 million VND.

On October 22, the delegation presented 6 gifts, each worth 2 million VND, to 5 families whose members died in the recent flood in Quang Binh. Presented 17 gifts, each worth 2 million VND in cash, 1 box of soap, 2 boxes of instant noodles to 17 families in Canh Duong commune (Quang Trach) - households whose boats were sunk by the waves.

The gifts were mainly cash, rice, instant noodles and mineral water.

The delegation also presented 10 gifts worth 1 million VND to 10 disadvantaged students, nearly 600 gifts, each worth 300 thousand VND (including cash, instant noodles, drinking water, rice) to households and students in Con beach, Quang Minh commune, Ba Don town. The total value of gifts presented in Quang Binh was nearly 250 million VND.

On October 23, in Thanh Chuong, the delegation presented 28 gifts to 28 families in especially difficult circumstances in Thanh Xuan, Thanh Mai, Thanh Long, Thanh Giang, Thanh Lam, Thanh Dong communes and Dung town with a total amount of more than 50 million VND.

Vietnamese Student Association in Taiwan presents gifts in Thanh Chuong.

On October 24, the delegation will continue to present 26 gifts to people in flooded communes in Hung Nguyen. After that, the delegation will go to Thanh Chuong to present 4 more gifts to the remaining families.

It is known that these gifts were donated by the Vietnamese Student Association in Taiwan, including support from students, overseas Vietnamese and workers.

Currently in Taiwan there are about 1,000 Vietnamese students studying and researching at 15 universities.

*On the afternoon of October 23, volunteer groups from Tan Ky - Nghe An visited and presented gifts to families in difficult circumstances due to the recent floods in Ha Tinh and Quang Binh provinces.

Presented 500 gifts to students of Trung Hoa Primary School (Quang Binh).

In the two most severely affected communes of Ha Tinh province, Phuong My (Huong Khe) and Son Thinh (Huong Son), the "Loving Heart" Association supported 53 gifts worth 26,500,000 VND in total, and 300 notebooks, 5 pencil boxes and some other necessary items to serve the people's lives after the flood.

In Trung Hoa commune, Minh Hoa district (Quang Binh), the "Green Dream" and "Warmth of Nghe An" charity associations presented 500 gifts including school supplies, clothes, food such as instant noodles, cakes, and candies to 500 students of Trung Hoa Primary School.

Vietnam Drivers Association gives gifts to people in Ha Tinh.

Also during the charity trip for the Central region, on the afternoon of October 24, the Vietnam Drivers Association visited and supported people affected by floods in Hoa Hai commune, Huong Khe district (Ha Tinh).

On this trip, the Association gave 19 gifts worth 500,000 VND each to the elderly, sick, and poor; 130 gifts including 3 boxes of instant noodles and rice to households that suffered heavy damage and 90 boxes of clothes divided equally among the households.

This gift was contributed by the brothers in the association and called for support from organizations and individuals from all over the country.
