Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television cooperate with businesses to provide support to flooded areas in My Ly and Keng Du before the new school year.
On the morning of September 4, a working delegation of Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television in coordination with Thai An Thanh Company Limited and businesses from Khanh Hoa province presented support to schools and people in flooded areas in My Ly and Keng Du communes.
Representing Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television was Mr. Phan Van Thang - Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Chairman of the Trade Union. Representing Thai An Thanh Company Limited was Mr. Nguyen An Nam - General Director.

The delegation went to My Ly commune to present gifts including gifts and cash, to help the government, people, teachers and students of My Ly 2 Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities overcome difficulties and damage caused by storms and floods.

To contribute to supporting the government, people and students affected by floods in My Ly commune, the working group presented support worth 160 million VND. Of which, Thai An Thanh Company Limited supported 100 million VND. Officials, reporters and employees of Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television contributed 60 million VND with 1 day's salary.

The gifts given to the school and people of My Ly commune were worth 140 million VND, including 10 65-inch LCD TVs, 3 industrial rice cookers; 10 million VND in cash was given to 10 disadvantaged students of My Ly 2 Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, each worth 1 million VND. The delegation donated 20 million VND to My Ly commune to overcome the consequences of the flood.

My Ly 2 Primary Ethnic Minority School was heavily affected by the recent flood when it was submerged 3-5m deep.

In addition to the damage to infrastructure, My Ly 2 Primary School for Ethnic Minorities also suffered complete damage to teaching equipment and supplies, including: 12 televisions, 5 refrigerators, 22 desktop computers, 3 laptops for teaching, all desks and chairs of 7 classrooms; the kitchen with all cooking utensils and 1.7 tons of rice reserved for boarding students at the beginning of the new school year were also submerged by floodwaters.
In addition, books, personal belongings of students and blankets, beds, wardrobes, and belongings of boarding teachers were also swept away by the flood.

On the same morning, Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television donated 50 million VND to Keng Du Commune. This is the amount of money that Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Radio and Television connected with Fun and Sun Vietnam Company Limited to support the people of Keng Du Commune, Nghe An, who were severely affected by the serious flash floods that occurred last July.
