Under the chairmanship of Colonel Tran Van Hung, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, directed units to quickly grasp the situation, closely coordinate with units of the Ministry and military regions stationed in the area, grasp all enemy activities and advise the Party Committee and authorities to take timely countermeasures.

At the same time, organize the handling of a number of situations such as: Moving the provincial armed forces from regular combat readiness (SSCD) to enhanced SSCD, from enhanced to high SSCD, from high to all; evacuating the armed forces to secret concentration areas, deploying the handling of a number of situations.
