Spanish football leagues postponed indefinitely
The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has decided to postpone all domestic matches from May 16.
Accordingly, the matches in round 36 of La Liga this weekend (May 9 and 10) will still take place normally, but after that, the matches in round 37 and 38 as well as the final of the Spanish King's Cup between Barca and Bilbao will be postponed indefinitely.
The reason is that the conflicts between the RFEF and the Spanish government over the issue of television copyright money have not been resolved.

In a statement, the RFEF said it had taken action after three months of negotiations with the government failed to resolve the differences. Up to 600,000 players and 30,000 matches across Spain will be affected by the decision.
Last week, the Spanish government approved a collective royalties law that, if passed by parliament, would distribute television revenue more evenly between teams in Spain's top two divisions.
However, RFEF did not agree with this law so they decided to suspend football tournaments in Spain to put pressure on the Spanish government to withdraw the above law.
Currently, in La Liga, Barca is leading with two points more than rivals Real and the championship race is in an exciting stage. However, with the latest decisions of the RFEF, it is unknown when the race between the two teams this season will end.
