Misses and Runners-up enthusiastically donate blood for Red Sunday

Appearing at the 7th Red Sunday press conference - 2015: Donate blood to save people, Your life and mine at Tien Phong newspaper on the morning of January 20, the Vietnamese beauty queens and runners-up pledged to donate blood.

This year's Red Sunday, Miss Vietnam 2014 Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen, 1st Runner-up Nguyen Tran Huyen My, the top 5 beauties and singers have committed to participating in the activities of Red Sunday 2015 (which will take place at Hanoi University of Science and Technology on the morning of Sunday, January 25, as well as simultaneously taking place in 17 provinces and cities across the country).

For Miss Ky Duyen and runner-up Huyen My, these are the first major charity activities after being crowned Miss Vietnam 2014.

Present at the press conference this morning, January 20, Miss Ky Duyen, on behalf of the beauties, pledged to be ready to donate blood in the Red Sunday event taking place on the morning of January 25 at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Before that, she had a charity trip, visiting patients being treated at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.

Since being crowned Miss Vietnam 2014, Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen has had many meaningful social activities, highly appreciated by the community.

For runner-up Huyen My, this is the first time she has participated in a meaningful and large-scale blood donation festival like Red Sunday. The beauty pledged to join other students in the blood donation festival to save lives.

Red Sunday 2015 is even more meaningful to Huyen My as this year's main event is held at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, where her father is working.

Previously, Huyen My was also very active in charity work, she often visited disadvantaged children being treated at the National Children's Hospital in Hanoi.

Along with Miss Ky Duyen and Runner-up Huyen My, the participation of beauties, singers and many famous people promises to make Red Sunday, organized by Tien Phong newspaper, spread even more, helping many patients with anemia have more opportunities to fight the disease.
