While Europe is shaken by terrorist attacks in France, photos have emerged showing new brutal medieval-style executions by the so-called Islamic State (IS).

The pictures show the brutality that extremist jihadists are willing to bring to the Western world.

The elevated position from which the condemned man would be thrown to the ground. Below ground, a fanatical crowd waited to watch the execution.

In new photos (taken in Iraq), two men are thrown to the ground from the top of a tower, two other men are hung on crosses in front of a screaming crowd. A woman is also seen being stoned to death.

IS threw two young men from the top of a tower to the ground to punish them for being… gay.

A masked IS fighter read the indictment to the “defendants”. According to the gunman’s list, the two men were guilty of homosexual activity and would be executed under IS’s extreme interpretation of Sharia law.

On the ground, two other men convicted of robbery were tied to metal crosses with yellow and blue ropes.

The two men were tied up and placed in the back of a pickup truck, then taken to the execution ground in the Iraqi city of Mosul.

The two death row inmates wore civilian clothes instead of the orange jumpsuits as in previous executions.

Their eyes were blindfolded, but left slightly exposed allowing them to see the angry crowd around them.

Two masked IS fighters, dressed in khaki uniforms, stood behind the two men hanging on the cross. The two IS fighters pulled out pistols and coldly pulled the triggers, shooting the two prisoners. The prisoners’ bodies lay motionless on the cross while the surrounding crowd looked on in amusement.

Fanatical crowd witnessed the execution

This is not the first time IS has released photos of its execution of gay men in Iraq.

In December 2014, photos emerged on social media showing eight IS militants throwing a gay man from a high roof to his death. The incident reportedly took place in al-Furat province. The victim’s mangled body was found lying on a dirty street, right in front of the steps of an orange building.

At that time, two other young men were also hanged on crosses for rape. After “serving their sentence”, their bodies were thrown over a nearby fence.

Standing next to him was an elderly IS fighter, Abu Omar al-Ansari. He had a bushy white beard.

Abu Omar al-Ansari is known as a key figure in IS’s “propaganda” efforts. He appeared in a video titled “The Message of the Mujahid,” in which he urged other Iraqis to join IS.

Al-Ansari then read the indictment of adultery against a woman in a black veil.

The last two pictures show the poor woman being stoned to death by a group of IS fighters. They threw large rocks at her. She lay on the ground surrounded by rocks. The bloodthirsty fighters only left after she was dead and covered with an old blue tarpaulin.

It seems that this stoning took place in a deserted residential area, not in a public execution ground in the middle of the city square./.
