"We recall that the extension of economic sanctions against Donbass is fully connected with Moscow's full and irreversible implementation of the Minsk agreements. These sanctions can be canceled if Russia fully fulfills its obligations, but we are also ready to apply new restrictive measures if Russia's actions require it," - according to the joint statement of the G7 countries.
The G7 also accused Russia of destabilizing the situation in the world, while affirming its readiness to cooperate with Russia on regional crises and global challenges.
Relations between Russia and the West have deteriorated amid the Ukraine crisis and the annexation of Crimea by Russia. The West has accused Moscow of interfering in Ukraine's internal affairs and imposed sanctions.
