“Today (January 23) we have recovered six bodies from inside the fuselage. There are still many bodies inside but they are stuck in the debris, making it impossible for divers to retrieve them,” Supriyadi said.
Indonesia has now recovered a total of 65 bodies from the AirAsia flight QZ8501 crash.
Indonesian rescuers are also struggling with strong currents and limited visibility in the Java Sea where the plane crashed on December 28 to be able to salvage the fuselage and cockpit of the plane, which is currently about 30m deep under the sea./.
