Weapons for the Victory Parade have been assembled in Moscow.
The column of military vehicles participating in the Victory Parade on Red Square on May 9 has arrived at a temporary assembly point in Moscow, - according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Russian Defense Ministry.
"The motorcade participating in the Victory Parade on Red Square on May 9 has just moved from the training ground at the Alabino training ground outside Moscow to the city center, stationed on Nizhnie Mnevniki Street in the northwestern district of the Russian capital," the statement said.
The combat vehicle family includes the "Tigr" missile vehicle, BTR-82A armored personnel carrier, "Iskander-M" and "Yars" missile systems, "Pansir-S" air defense missile systems, S-400 missile systems, "Typhoon" armored personnel carriers, as well as a group of more than 100 service vehicles.
In addition, the parade formation included T-34-85, T-72B3 tanks, BMD-4M, BMD-MDM "Boomerang" BTRs, Msta-S, Koalitsia, BMP-3 self-propelled guns, Buk-M2 and Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems. They were delivered by rail to the Presnya station and then taken to the parade site.
