How to keep baby toys clean
Everyone knows that you should give your baby clean toys, but cleaning them is not easy if you don't know how.
Almost every baby has a lot of toys, so taking the toys and cleaning them one by one is not too difficult. You can do it in the following ways:
- Soak the toy in soapy water or dishwashing liquid for about 5 minutes. Then, rub it to remove all dirt inside and out. Next, you must rinse the soapy water.
- Prepare a mixture of disinfectant water and chlorine bleach. Dissolve the disinfectant in clean water. Dissolved bleach is considered safe for cleaning children's toys because it contains chlorine that evaporates quickly. Soak the toys in the bleach water, then rinse and dry.
- Soak children's toys in the disinfectant solution for 2 to 5 minutes. Too little time will not kill the maximum amount of germs, and too much time can affect the material of the toy.
- Rinse the toys after soaking for no more than 5 minutes, then dry them in a ventilated and dry place.
- Wooden toys should not be soaked in water for too long because the wood will easily rot. Not only that, wooden toys soaked in water are also not good for your baby's health.
- Toys in stores are not hygienic, so when you bring them home, you need to clean them before letting your child play.
- Toys for babies to suck on, such as pacifiers, teethers, etc., should be kept clean. Anytime a toy falls to the ground, you should sterilize it with boiling water before putting it back into your baby's mouth.
