(Baonghean) -For many years, the assessment of poor households in some localities has not been done correctly, not convincing people, leading to complaints to higher authorities.

In Cau Troi hamlet, Ky Son commune (Tan Ky), to avoid "wrongly" naming poor households, before voting for poor households, the hamlet committee proactively classified them into: rich households, well-off households, average households, and the remaining households as poor households. In particular, among those poor households, three causes of poverty were identified: lack of labor, lack of land for production, illness; lack of capital and laziness. In particular, priority was given to households lacking capital, lack of labor, illness and no land for production. Poor households that refused to work were not accepted. By doing so, when voting for poor households was held at the hamlet meeting, everyone agreed.

This shows that, in order to vote for poor households in line with reality, localities must have specific directions to guide hamlets and villages to implement, so that the truly poor can enjoy the policies of the Party and State.
