How to use Moringa to cure diseases
Moringa is increasingly grown in home gardens as a vegetable due to its rich nutritional value. However, this plant has long been used as a medicine.
Moringa is also known as the miracle tree, the wonder tree, the universal tree, the tree of life, the horseradish tree, the drumstick tree (because the fruit resembles a drumstick), and the bel oil tree. The scientific name of Moringa is Moringa Oleifera.Lam (M. Pterygosperum Gaertn) belongs to the Moringaceae family.

1. Nutrition and treatment of Moringa
Most parts of the Moringa tree such as flowers, leaves, fruits, seeds, roots and stems are useful to humans. By cultivating Moringa, farmers can also improve poor soil.
- Parts such as green fruit, young leaves, flowers, young branches:Both are rich in nutrients and trace elements, can be used as food for humans and livestock, help reduce hunger and poverty, contribute to ensuring food security, and fight malnutrition for children in developing countries. However, when used as vegetables for human consumption, they must be cooked (cooked thoroughly).
In cooking, young leaves and even old leaves of Moringa are used to make soup with meat, shrimp, mushrooms or cooked plain (taste similar to Malabar spinach). The leaves stimulate digestion and are a good food source for new mothers and infants.
Dried and powdered moringa leaves can be stored for a long time without losing nutrients and can be used in many dishes such as porridge, children's nutritional powder, cake powder, and mixed drinks.
- Moringa flowers:It has a lot of sweet and nutritious nectar, can be used as a vegetable, or dried and boiled to drink as a tea (made into tea). Young fruit (has a flavor like asparagus) can be cooked into soup, stewed with bones to eat.
- Old seeds:Can be roasted and eaten like peanuts or distilled to get cooking oil instead of olive oil (this oil has a bright yellow color, pleasant flavor, and can be stored for a long time). Moringa seeds also have the effect of filtering water (crush and mix with water, let it settle, all impurities will be completely removed). The young roots of the tree are eaten raw or used as a spice like horseradish (instead of mustard).
