The incident of a man posting a sign looking for a wife has been causing a stir in the community in recent days.The husband's name is Nguyen Van Vong, 48 years old, a dance teacher and a traditional healer.

A neighbor of the family said that Mr. Vong and his wife, Dan, often argued. On the morning of April 20, Mr. Vong hung the sign in front of his house, despite being stopped by his neighbors. He had done this once before.

According to officials of Thinh Quang ward, where Mr. Vong lives, Mr. Vong had a previous wife and also had conflicts and lawsuits when they divorced. He has been married to his second wife, named Dan, for 16 years and has a son.

"This morning I went to check and didn't see the 'Wife Recruitment' sign hanging in front of house number 170," said Ms. Le Thi Tien, a Culture and Social Affairs officer of Thinh Quang ward. She said she had reported the incident to her superiors and would invite Mr. Vong to the ward to work.
