Banning "Ba Tung" Le Thi Huyen Anh from performing nationwide
This is a timely move by the Department of Performing Arts to seriously implement Directive 65 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
On August 7, the Director of the Department of Performing Arts (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) signed an official dispatch to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of provinces and cities nationwide requesting the temporary suspension of granting performance licenses, including in bars, to Le Thi Huyen Anh (nickname “Ba Tung”). This official dispatch will be sent to provinces and cities on August 8.
The reason for suspending the license for Le Thi Huyen Anh is because this girl has had offensive "nude" photos and clips appearing on social networks, causing outrage in public opinion and negatively affecting young people recently.
The Department of Performing Arts issued this document to strictly implement Directive 65 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on rectifying the organization of performing arts and fashion shows. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Head of the Performance Management Department, Department of Performing Arts said that according to regulations, performing at bars does not require licensing procedures like professional art programs. However, the unit organizing the performance at the bar must also notify the local cultural management agency.
It is known that after becoming "famous" thanks to her offensive "body-showing" performances on social networks, Le Thi Huyen Anh had the intention of entering the entertainment market as a singer by singing at bars first. However, on July 27, Le Thi Huyen Anh was banned by the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism from performing at Max 3 bar. Then, on August 6, the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also requested the Night Club bar (Hung Vuong street, Nha Trang city) to remove all billboards and posters advertising Le Thi Huyen Anh's performances because they were not licensed. Recently, images of Le Thi Huyen Anh performing at a bar in Ho Chi Minh City also appeared online.
The timely issuance of this document by the Department of Performing Arts will certainly receive public support. This is a strong move to improve the health of the performing arts sector and is a suitable “blow” for those who want to enter showbiz through scandals and cheap “dirty” tricks./.
