Prohibition of using apartments as offices

Only small-scale companies, non-manufacturing companies with few employees, are allowed to use apartments as offices.

The Ministry of Construction has sent an official dispatch requesting the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction to report to the City People's Committee requesting the city's functional agencies to carry out the management and use of apartment buildings for the right purposes according to the provisions of the Housing Law.

Accordingly, it is not allowed to use apartments as offices, especially for large companies. In special cases, small-scale companies, not manufacturing companies, with few employees, are allowed.

In case of mixed-use apartment buildings where offices can be separated from residential areas, the management of offices shall be carried out as for business and service buildings./.
