Decree 153/2018, effective from December 24, stipulates the pension adjustment policy for female employees who start receiving pension from 2018 to 2021, with a social insurance (SI) payment period of 20 years to 29 years and 6 months as follows: The adjustment level will be calculated by the pension level according to the provisions of the Social Insurance Law 2014 at the time of starting to receive pension multiplied by the adjustment rate corresponding to the period of SI payment and the time of receiving pension.
If you retire in 2018, the highest adjustment rate is 12.3%; the lowest is 1.08%, depending on the period of social insurance contribution. If you retire in 2019, the highest adjustment rate is 9.23%, the lowest is 0.81%, depending on the period of social insurance contribution.
According to Vietnam Social Security, the number of female workers starting to receive pensions in the 2018-2021 period and the number of people with 20 to 29 years and 6 months of social insurance contributions is about 91,000, including 20,500 people retiring in 2018; 22,000 people in 2019; 23,500 people in 2020 and 25,100 people in 2021.

Decision 45/2018 of the Prime Minister, effective from December 25, regulates the meeting regime in the management and operation activities of agencies in the state administrative system. Accordingly, there are 5 cases where meetings are not allowed to be held.
These are meetings to resolve regular work in the event of natural disasters or emergencies; meetings to resolve work that has been decentralized, delegated, or authorized to the head of a lower-level administrative agency to resolve; meetings to resolve work that has been prescribed by law by other means than through a meeting; meetings to listen to reports on the performance of tasks by lower-level agencies instead of direct inspection of lower-level agencies, units, and establishments; meetings combined with sightseeing, exchanges, vacations, or using the form of meetings to organize entertainment for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers.
