Reporter: Sir, what is the basis for the rotating power cut schedule in March 2011?
Mr. Nguyen Thuong Hien: Based on the electricity output plan that the Northern Power Corporation provided to Nghe An in the first 6 months of 2011 and the priority list of agencies and units, Nghe An Power Company coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade to advise the Provincial People's Committee to approve the power cut plan for March 2011. The power cut plan has been posted on the mass media and the Nghe An Power Company website.http://www.dienlucnghean.com.vn) for localities and customers to monitor and plan for production, business and daily life.
For Vinh City - the unit that has not yet implemented power cuts, Nghe An Electricity has directed the Electricity Branch to work with customers using separate transformers and administrative agencies to request a reduction in electricity consumption by 10-15%. In the remaining months of the dry season, power cuts will be carried out in rotation according to priority for this area.
Reporter: Will Nghe An Electricity cut power according to the approved plan?
Mr. Nguyen Thuong Hien: Nghe An Electricity has established a Power Supply Management Team. Until the end of March 1, 2011 (the first day of implementing power cuts)
(rotating) then the power system in the whole province operates normally. In the condition that the output is allocated according to the plan, Nghe An Electricity commits to ensure the implementation of the power cut schedule approved by the Provincial People's Committee. However, if there is a problem with the transmission system, or the supply is lower than the expected allocation plan, Nghe An Electricity will be forced to dismiss the priority order and we will notify later.
