Over the past year, the Campaign to support and help the poor in general and the Tet for the Poor Program in particular have received attention, support, assistance, enthusiasm and high responsibility from businessmen, social organizations, philanthropists, agencies, units, cadres, party members, soldiers of the armed forces, and people from all walks of life inside and outside the province.
In 2014, the poor of the province received help from central ministries, economic groups, commercial banks and 107 agencies, units and enterprises to help 110 poor communes with a total amount of money, works and materials of about VND 100 billion.170.5billion VND. Of which, the fund for the poor mobilized by the Fatherland Front is 29 billion VND, the socialized source of agencies and units helping poor communes and poor people is 116.5 billion VND. Especially in 2015 alone, the program "Tet for the poor At Mui 2015" received more than 31 billion VND to support the poor to enjoy Tet and welcome Spring.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, I sincerely express my gratitude, acknowledge and appreciate the noble gestures and precious feelings of the businessmen, organizations and individuals who have helped the poor. The funds and goods that organizations and individuals have helped the poor have been and are being transferred to the right subjects and for the right purposes by the Organizing Committee of the Program "Tet for the Poor of Nghe An Province" in coordination with the districts. Thanks to the attention of agencies, units, businesses and philanthropists, the poor have a full, warm and peaceful Tet.
