Comrade Nguyen Ho Canh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district, said: Xop Chao village, Luong Minh commune - Tuong Duong has 79 households of the Kho Mu ethnic group. The sudden rise in the water level of the reservoir caused 30 households, a primary school and a kindergarten to be flooded. The cause of the flooding was due to the wrong placement of markers. The water level at the elevation was 200.5 m but at the reservoir it only reached 191 m, causing flooding in a corner of Xop Chao village.
