Completed planting of 32 Vietnam - Laos border markers

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the plan to renovate and increase the density of Vietnam - Laos border markers, since the beginning of 2012, the Steering Committee for Border Marker Planting of Nghe An province has directed 2 border marker planting teams to coordinate with Lao functional agencies to conduct bilateral surveys of 31 border marker planting locations, completing the construction of 32 border markers.

Of which, the Nghe An route bordering Hua Phan province (Laos) has completed surveying 16 markers and constructing 15 markers; the Nghe An - BolykhamXay route has completed surveying 15 markers and constructing 17 markers. In total, the entire route has completed surveying 107/116 boundary marker locations (9 markers have not been surveyed), and completed constructing 90/116 boundary markers (26 markers have not been constructed).
