Need 495 billion VND for compensation for land acquisition and clearance for Vinh urban development sub-project

((Baonghean.vn) - Information from Vinh city said: The funding needed for site clearance for 4 projects: Regulating lake (belonging to the North Canal project), renovation of Vinh ancient citadel canal, 72m road project to Hung Tay and 35m road project belonging to Vinh urban development sub-project phase 2 is nearly 500 billion VND.

In July 2015, the cost of land acquisition for the Vinh City Ancient Citadel and Lake project was 170 billion VND, which has been met from the land auction in the first 6 months of the year. Before September 30, the cost of land acquisition for the 72m road was 269 billion VND and before October 30, 56 billion VND was spent on the 35m road. After October 30, the city needs 303 billion VND (to repay the amount advanced in the plan).

The solution the city has proposed is to focus on promoting land auctions. Since the beginning of the year, the city has collected 166 billion VND from land use rights auctions.

North Canal section 3 (below the old Polish Hospital bridge) is being accelerated for construction before the flood season.
