On the morning of August 25, comrade Xukhamphet Huongbutxi - Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Deputy Inspector General of the Lao Government led a delegation of high-ranking officials to offer flowers and incense at the Kim Lien relic site, Nam Dan district. Accompanying the delegation, on the side of Nghe An province, was comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. |
Offering a basket of fresh flowers to his soul, the delegation expressed their sincere respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the man who fought and sacrificed his whole life for the cause of national liberation of Vietnam and Laos.
In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, the delegates further engrave in their minds the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh on the special and sacred relationship between the Party, State and people of Vietnam and Laos: “Vietnam and Laos, our two countries/Our love is deeper than the Red River and Mekong River”; and the affirmation of President Kaysone Phomvihane: “Mountains may wear away, rivers may dry up, but the Laos-Vietnam love will forever be stronger than mountains and rivers”.
