Nguoc Mountain is located along the Lam River in Thanh Ngoc and Ngoc Son communes (Thanh Chuong). It has 3 peaks, 109m high. National Highway 46B through Nguoc Mountain is quite dangerous because one side is high mountain, the other side is deep river. During the resistance war against the US, the route through Nguoc Mountain was fiercely bombarded by the enemy. Today, this route is still a traffic black spot. Photo: Huy Thu

Mr. Le Dinh Thanh - Vice Chairman of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee said: "The anti-landslide project at Nguoc Mountain is very important for the travel of Thanh Chuong district people, because this is the main road connecting Thanh Chuong district with Vinh city and neighboring areas. For that reason, when the Department of Roads had a policy to handle this section, the District People's Committee actively coordinated to clear the site and hand over the clean site to the investor for implementation. The completion of the project will help vehicles to travel through this section more conveniently, especially when the rainy season comes". Photo: Huy Thu
