In a meeting with provincial People's Council representatives, voter Cao Sy Thuan (from Dien Phuc commune) expressed his concern about the fact that farmers are no longer enthusiastic about agriculture and are accepting jobs in the city, ranging from domestic helpers and factory workers to traders and construction laborers.
According to Mr. Thuan, people are abandoning farming because the cost of agricultural inputs is increasing while the return on agricultural production is low, and crop planning and agricultural product markets are weak, so people are choosing to earn money from other jobs.

“The consequences of farmers abandoning their fields not only affect the stability of the agricultural production structure and social life, but also lead to land degradation and waste of land resources. Voters hope that the State will have policies to guide the development of a rational product structure that suits market conditions, and build economic models to help farmers improve production efficiency,” Mr. Thuan said.
Voter Phan Dinh Trung (from Dien Thanh commune) reflected that in implementing the policy of socializing education in schools, some schools have taken advantage of the policy for improper purposes, causing public opinion to have a "distorted" view of this policy and creating public resentment recently.
