The bunker that protects President Trump from any nuclear attack

According toExpress,This bunker is located deep in the Raven Rock mountain in the state of Pennsylvania. The Raven Rock military complex with an area of ​​about 81,000m2 was built by the Pentagon exclusively for high-ranking government and military officials.

This complex was built and put into operation around the 1950s and is one of the top secret bases that former Vice President Dick Cheney used as a refuge after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

However, a newly released book has gradually revealed the secrets of Raven Rock, other bunkers as well as the US government's plans in case of attack by North Korea.

The book's author, Garrett M Graff, former editor-in-chief of the magazineWashingtonian,revealed that when he was editor-in-chief, he was given a special identification card by a colleague for government employees. On the back of the card, there were instructions for the user to go to a fixed location in case of emergency evacuation.

Mr. Graff said that, using Google Maps, the address led to a road leading to a mountainside where there was an entrance to a fortified bunker. He later discovered it was Raven Rock.

Curious to learn more, he recently used declassified documents to research the history of this complex as well as other bunker complexes scattered across the United States.

Mr. Graff shared withi Washington Post: "In the 1950s, the US government hoped to protect a large number of Americans with nuclear bomb shelters. However, as bomb technology continued to improve with greater destructive power, they gradually only hoped to protect high-ranking leaders."

In the event of a nuclear attack, the US President and senior government officials would immediately leave Washington and move to one of the Raven Rock-like bunkers, according to Mr. Graff.
