(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 10, the working delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee led by Comrade Giang A Chu - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council had a working session in Thanh Chuong district within the framework of the supervision program "Implementation of policies and laws on land management and use at state-owned farms and forestry farms in the period 2004 - 2014" in Nghe An.

Thanh Chuong district has 66,242.04 hectares of forestry land, accounting for 58.70% of the total natural area. Of which, 40,011.94 hectares are assigned to 6 management units, namely: Thanh Chuong Forestry Enterprise (now the Protective Forest Management Board); Youth Volunteer Teams 2 and 5; Ngoc Lam, Hanh Lam and Thanh Mai tea factories.
Implementing policies and laws on land management and use of farms and forestry farms, in 2012 and 2014, the interdisciplinary and district inspection team directly inspected the land use of two tea factories, Hanh Lam and Thanh Mai. The inspection results showed that the factories had allocated agricultural land to households and individuals for production in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 135/2005/ND-CP.

However, there are still some shortcomings in the management and review work, leading to delays in granting certificates of land use rights, changing management forms and cases of misuse of land allocated for production. After inspection, we reminded, corrected and assigned competent agencies and units to review and hand over land areas used for the wrong purpose or not used, and consider granting land use rights on the basis of compliance with the Land Law and financial obligations.

After listening to the reports and comments of the delegates in the working group, Comrade Giang A Chu concluded that it is necessary to continue to promote the innovation of the organization and management mechanism of state-owned farms to improve the efficiency of land use. To effectively and transparently carry out this process, it is necessary to promptly grasp and strictly comply with the provisions of the law on land, conduct regular reviews and rectifications, ensure that land funds are used for the right purposes, without disputes or overlaps, improve people's lives and create resources for society.
