Need to pay attention to the situation of farmers abandoning their fields
(Baonghean.vn) - On December 2, 2013, at Dien Yen commune (Dien Chau), comrades: Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Pham Van Tan - Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province met with voters of 8 communes: Dien Yen, Dien Lam, Dien Doai, Dien Truong, Dien Hung, Dien Hoang, Dien My, Dien Phong according to the program after the 6th session, 13th National Assembly.
At this session, the National Assembly considered and approved the amended Constitution with a preamble, 11 chapters, 120 articles, effective from January 1, 2014, and issued a Resolution stipulating a number of points for the implementation of the Constitution. In addition, the National Assembly also considered and approved 8 laws and gave opinions on 10 draft laws.

For rural areas, voters expressed their opinions: There should be policies to support and encourage farmers to produce because the number of farmers abandoning their fields is increasing due to low production efficiency; the state needs to increase support for building new rural areas and policies for the elderly, people infected with Agent Orange, and cooperative leaders; there should be solutions to help agricultural service cooperatives operate effectively; invest in facilities and human resources for grassroots medical centers to reduce the burden on upper-level facilities.

Voters suggested speeding up the upgrading and expansion of National Highway 1A, focusing on resolving issues related to compensation for site clearance and coordinating to ensure traffic safety. Speeding up housing support for poor households in phase 2 according to Decision 167 of the Government; solving employment issues for students after graduating from colleges and universities; suggesting that the State should pay attention to the regime for cadres doing party work at the commune level, especially cadres for mass mobilization, inspection, and party committee offices. Reviewing and handling the current situation of administrative staff not decreasing and the apparatus bloated. At National Assembly sessions, provincial National Assembly deputies should increase their speaking at the parliament.
