After listening to National Assembly delegate Tran Huu Tuat report on the results of the 5th session of the 13th National Assembly, voters reflected on the ongoing shortcomings, especially issues related to environmental pollution. Voters said that along with socio-economic development, the amount of waste and household waste discharged is increasing. Meanwhile, the budget for environmental protection has not increased; awareness, responsibility as well as sanctions for indiscriminate dumping have not been focused on. Therefore, it is recommended that the National Assembly and competent authorities increase funding for waste collection and treatment units; at the same time, take measures to raise awareness and sense of responsibility for the whole society and have specific sanctions for organizations and individuals who discharge waste in violation of regulations.

Voters recommend that there should be a special mechanism and regime for environmental sanitation workers when working at night, with the risks of accidents caused by traffic participants and robberies at night. Priority should be given to low-income workers to borrow money to buy houses to stabilize their housing.
Also at the meeting, the National Assembly delegates noted many opinions that are under the jurisdiction of the provincial level, such as raising environmental fees, the income of sanitation workers is still too difficult, not commensurate with the work and working environment. They suggested that Vinh city should have a solution when the Social Insurance agency is slow to pay sick leave, property, accident benefits, etc. to ensure the rights of workers. Every year, funds should be allocated for environmental protection propaganda, limiting the situation of littering and littering, causing difficulties for collection work, and keeping the environmental landscape of Vinh city clean and beautiful.
