Need to review, supplement regulations, and rectify working discipline and style
(Baonghean.vn) - On October 2, the working group of the Department of Home Affairs in conjunction with the Provincial Inspectorate inspected the implementation of the contents of Directive 17 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Directive 10 - CT/UBND, at the People's Committee of Quy Chau district, and two communes of Chau Tien and Chau Thang.

Through actual inspection, it was found that the majority of civil servants in Quy Chau district strictly followed working hours, did not drink alcohol, and most of them met the standards of office culture while performing their duties. However, in Quy Chau, civil servants did not have civil servant cards as prescribed. At the "one-stop" center, the arrangement of cadres and legal documents was not carried out in accordance with standards.

As a model commune for new rural construction, in Chau Tien commune, the Party Committee and the Commune People's Committee have integrated the implementation of Directive 17 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Directive 10-CT/UBND and Regulation 740/QD-HU dated November 12, 2013 of the District Party Committee on not drinking alcohol during working hours and lunch breaks, in weekly and monthly meetings; have deployed the posting of administrative procedures according to regulations at the workplace. Especially in Chau Tien, the Commune People's Committee has arranged to record working hours and has issued sanctions to handle civil servants who violate the regulations.

In Chau Thang commune, there is no document showing the implementation of Directive 17 and Directive 10 as well as Decision 740 of the District Party Committee. However, civil servants of Chau Thang People's Committee have strictly implemented regulations on working hours, no cadres violated the regulations prohibiting drinking alcohol during working hours and lunch breaks.
After the inspection, the provincial working delegation acknowledged the positive actions of units and agencies in implementing and complying with Directive 17-CT of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Directive 10-CT/UBND. At the same time, the delegation recommended a number of contents for local units to imbibe in correcting working style and manners so that the contents of the directives become more and more practical.
