Need to strengthen supervision of vocational training for rural workers

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 2, the delegation of the 13th National Assembly, including comrades Tran Huu Tuat - Deputy Commander of Military Region IV; Le Thi Tam - President of the Provincial Women's Union, had a meeting with voters after the 9th session of the 13th National Assembly with the Vinh City Youth Union.

On behalf of the National Assembly delegation, comrade Tran Huu Tuat reported the results of the 9th session of the 13th National Assembly. At the recent session, the National Assembly spent most of its time discussing, reviewing, and passing 11 laws, 9 resolutions, and giving opinions on 15 draft laws to continue implementing and institutionalizing the Constitution. The National Assembly listened to voters' opinions and considered the Government's Report on the provisions of Article 60 of the 2014 Law on Social Insurance, the Law on Military Service (amended), etc.

At the meeting, voters made recommendations on a number of issues directly related to the lives, socio-economy, national security and defense of the country and localities, such as the progress of amending the Youth Law, the issue of employment for students after graduation; requesting the National Assembly to strengthen supervision of vocational training for rural workers, youth access to loans for economic development, allowances for grassroots Youth Union officials, etc.

On behalf of the National Assembly delegation, comrade Tran Huu Tuat and comrade Le Thi Tam acknowledged and highly appreciated the enthusiastic and responsible opinions of voters, and explained some of the voters' concerns and recommendations. The National Assembly delegates also hoped that the Vinh City Youth Union would promote its youth and contribute to the process of national development. Regarding issues related to politics, the National Assembly delegates also requested that union members and young people have a firm political stance and absolute trust in the Party and State's policies.
