Need to increase the application of high technology in agriculture
Experts say this activity aims to improve efficiency, quality, and enhance product competitiveness.
This morning (May 15), in Hanoi, Nhan Dan Newspaper coordinated with the State Bank, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Association of High-Tech Enterprises to organize a workshop on "Solutions for developing large-scale agricultural production models, applying high technology".
Recently, a number of large-scale production models have emerged, enhancing connectivity and applying high technology in a number of localities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An, Lam Dong, Hau Giang, Thai Nguyen... initially achieving positive results.

At the conference, many delegates said that Vietnam’s agriculture is entering a period of in-depth development on a larger scale to meet the requirements of international economic integration. This requires the application of high technology in production to improve efficiency, enhance competitiveness, product quality and meet the increasingly diverse needs of consumers and exports.
The State Bank, in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Science and Technology and credit institutions, plans to select 20 linkage models between enterprises and farmers such as: large-scale field models, linkage models according to product value chains, high-tech enterprises... to pilot this credit program, with key agricultural export products such as rice, seafood, livestock, vegetable production...
After completing the pilot for about 2 years, the State Bank will summarize and draw lessons to perfect the policy and replicate it nationwide./.
