At the conference, delegates heard the announcement of Conclusion No. 173-TB/TW dated April 6, 2020 of the Secretariat "On continuing to implement Directive 11-CT/TW of the 13th Politburo on purchasing and reading Party newspapers and magazines".

Accordingly, the Directive requires Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, agencies and units to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the Conclusion Notice No. 173-TB/TW "On promoting the purchase and reading of Party newspapers and magazines" to further raise the awareness of Party committees, Party organizations, levels and sectors about the role, significance and importance of Party newspapers and magazines.

Party committees and organizations, especially leaders, must do a good job of purchasing and reading Party newspapers and magazines. In particular, focus on implementing the content of "Ensuring that each Party cell and Party organization has Nhan Dan Newspaper, Communist Magazine and local Party newspaper".

In addition, continue to promote propaganda work, enhance the spirit and responsibility of all levels, sectors, agencies, units, cadres and party members in purchasing, managing and using Party newspapers and magazines./.

Accordingly, after 15 years of implementing Directive No. 37-CT/TU dated March 18, 2004 of the Central Party Secretariat, 9th tenure, the Vietnam Journalists Association has been continuously consolidated and developed, continuing to affirm its important position and role in the revolutionary cause of the Party. The Directive also clearly stated that besides the achieved results, the activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association still have some limitations.
