Canada: Shooting at McDonald's, 2 people dead

Two people have died after an argument turned violent at a McDonald's restaurant in Toronto, Ontario, eastern Canada.

Two men, aged 40 and 25, were shot dead after an argument with an armed security guard who had also come to the restaurant to buy food, local police said on February 28. The man also suffered an arm injury and was taken to hospital.

The incident happened at around 3am local time, when there were about 20 people in the restaurant.

Police are currently examining security camera footage to determine how the argument turned violent. The security guard is said to be cooperating with the investigation./.
