Previously, at noon on January 26, due to the extremely cold weather, Bao Tran's father bought an electric heating pad to warm his child. When Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan (Bao Tran's mother) was plugging in the charger, the pad suddenly exploded, causing water to leak out and severely burn the child. Ms. Lan suffered burns to her legs.

Baby Nguyen Thi Bao Tran suffered severe burns to her legs due to an exploding heating pad. She is being treated for her injuries at Nghe An Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital.

Baby Bao Tran was taken to Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital for emergency treatment with burns to her lower limbs, groin and genitals. After 4 days of treatment, by the afternoon of January 30, Bao Tran's health was improving.

Doctors recommend that people should not buy heating bags sold on the market without clear origin. At the same time, they should limit children's direct contact with heating bags, and should not use the heating bag while it is charging to avoid electric leakage.
