Man suffers severe burns suspected to have been caused by a phone exploding while charging
A man in Nghe An was taken to a medical facility with severe burns to half of his body, suspected to have been caused by a phone explosion.
According to information from Tuong Duong District Medical Center, the patient was given initial emergency treatment and then transferred to Nghe An General Hospital for further treatment.

Earlier, on the evening of March 10, Mr. LVG, 31 years old, residing in Tam Thai commune, Tuong Duong district, attended a wedding. After drinking alcohol, he returned home and went to sleep.
At dawn on March 11, his relatives heard screams coming from Mr. G.’s room and rushed in to check. They discovered flames erupting from the bed, engulfing his body. Although the fire was promptly extinguished, Mr. G. suffered severe burns from his abdomen down to his legs. He was immediately taken to a medical facility for emergency treatment.
Doctors determined that Mr. G. suffered burns in multiple locations, with third-degree burns. Local authorities suspect that the cause of the incident was due to Mr. G.'s phone exploding while charging, causing the fire.
