People with the disorder are characterized by delusions and egotistical behavior, a desire to be admired by others, an ambition to succeed brilliantly in all fields, and a lack of empathy for others.
This personality disorder is associated with egocentrism. The disease is also known as Narcissistic Personality Disorder or narcissistic personality disorder. Simply put, narcissism is a syndrome of excessive self-love with 3 clear manifestations as follows: lack of empathy for others, lack of ability to control desires and inability to learn from experience.

Specifically, people with this disease often have the following symptoms:
- Reacting strongly when receiving negative comments or feeling angry and embarrassed when criticized;
- Taking advantage of others to achieve one's goals;
- Exaggerate your talents and abilities;
- Always want people to notice and admire them;
- Ignoring or having no empathy for others;
- Often delusional about one's own success and overly sensitive to one's failures.
Psychologist Kluger says that children with narcissism are greedy, demanding, violent, selfish, impulsive and often have no remorse. They demand that others pamper them but do not care about others, they only want to be rewarded but when punished they scream.

In particular, scientists warn of the outbreak of a "narcissistic epidemic" on social networks in the current era of rapid information technology development.
Cases of excessive self-love, not being brave enough to recognize one's own mistakes (it is extremely difficult to recognize mistakes), having too many illusions about one's abilities (young people call it power illusion), lacking empathy for others, demanding and not willing to dedicate themselves to work because they consider it not a worthy job for them.
