Traffic police caught illegal fireworks

On the night of January 15, while patrolling on the Nghe An - Xieng Khouang road, the Vinh City Traffic Police Team discovered a young man riding a motorbike with strange behavior.

The subject and the explosive barrel were arrested by the police.

After stopping the car for an administrative check, the police discovered a young man carrying a box of firecrackers. During the initial struggle, the young man confessed that his name was Nguyen Van Sang, born in 1989, residing in Nghi Thiet commune, Nghi Loc district. At around 7:00 p.m. on January 15, Sang was hired by a group of strangers to transport a box of firecrackers from Nghi Truong commune's welcome gate to Vinh city to deliver to another person for 300,000 VND. When he went from Nghi Truong commune to Nghi An commune, he was arrested by the police.

The explosive firecracker box weighed nearly 15kg. Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Duy Ha, Captain of the Vinh City Traffic Police Team, said that the investigation into the incident is being expanded.
