Nghe An traffic police simultaneously launched alcohol concentration checks on the evening of April 5
On the evening of April 5, the Traffic Police of Nghe An Province simultaneously conducted alcohol concentration checks on the roads. This is part of the plan to ensure traffic safety on the occasion of the Hung Kings' death anniversary, aiming to strengthen control and prevent traffic accident risks during the peak festival period.
From 7 p.m., the Traffic Police force across the province, including Road Traffic Police Teams No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station, and working groups in districts, cities, and towns, simultaneously patrolled, controlled, and handled violations of traffic safety and order. Special attention was paid to checking and handling violations related to alcohol concentration.

According to the plan, teams, stations and working groups in districts, cities and towns will simultaneously carry out inspections on all routes across the province. In particular, the force will proactively change the time frame and location of inspections continuously, in order to prevent subjects from taking advantage of understanding the working rules of the Working Group to evade control. This determination demonstrates the timely and drastic direction of the Nghe An Traffic Police force in ensuring traffic order and safety. The highest goal is to ensure traffic order and safety for people to travel safely and conveniently.

During the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day in 2025, when officials, civil servants and workers have 3 days off, the Traffic Police force will increase human resources and vehicles to ensure traffic order and safety, serve people's travel needs, and at the same time carry out continuous patrols and controls throughout the holiday.
In particular, violations such as speeding, driving in the wrong lane, carrying more passengers than the prescribed number... will be strictly handled. Along with that, the traffic police force will focus strongly on handling violations of alcohol concentration, one of the main causes of traffic accidents.Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Nam Hong - Deputy Head of Traffic Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Nam Hong emphasized that although alcohol violations have decreased compared to before, especially since Decree 168 with strict penalties came into effect, there are still some people who are subjective, especially after the two-level police model was applied and the district-level police were abolished. Faced with this situation, traffic police forces in districts, cities and towns will simultaneously deploy on all routes. Patrol teams will proactively change the time frame and location of inspections to prevent subjects from taking advantage of the working group's operating rules to evade control. With the motto "No forbidden zones, no exceptions", the traffic police force will resolutely handle all violations.
