Regarding the plan for the coming time, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Nam Hong said: To continue to effectively implement the work of ensuring traffic safety and order in 2024 with the theme "Respecting the law to build a traffic culture", the traffic police force will persistently implement propaganda measures, thereby raising awareness of self-compliance with the law and building a safe traffic culture for the people.

At the same time, continue to mobilize and arrange forces and means, thoroughly use means and technical equipment to organize patrols, control, detect, and strictly handle violations that are the direct causes of traffic accidents, especially violations of alcohol concentration when driving on roads. Teams and stations coordinate with local police to actively propagate and deploy regular inspections and handling on national and provincial highways, focusing on strong inspections at noon, evening, holidays and on routes with high traffic volume. In addition, the Traffic Police force of 21 districts, cities and towns simultaneously deployed working groups to inspect and handle general violations, including violations of alcohol concentration on all routes managed by localities, with the viewpoint of "no forbidden zones, no exceptions", anyone who violates will be handled.
