Police were deployed to Al-Aqsa - a Jewish holy site known as the Temple Mount - after clashes broke out on September 27 when Palestinian protesters "hoarded" rocks inside the holy site and planned to sleep there to "protect" it during the Sukkot holiday - an event that will last for eight days.
Al-Aqsa is the third holiest site in Islam and the holiest site in Judaism.
Jews are allowed to come here, but are not allowed to pray to avoid igniting tensions./.
