Lieutenant Hoang Ngoc Khanh, the patrol team leader, said that upon receiving the report, the task force set up a checkpoint near the intersection at the traffic light at the beginning of the highway. A few minutes later, the authorities discovered a young man riding an Air Blade at high speed, with someone shouting behind him.
The patrol team divided into 3 groups to intercept and stop the scooter, and together with the owner, managed to hold the young man driving.
At Hoang Liet Ward Police Station, the young man gave his name as Ngo Quy Anh (31 years old, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi). The 8X suspect stated that on the same day, he wandered around the Kim Van - Kim Lu apartment complex (Hoang Mai District) looking for opportunities to steal.
Seeing the Air Blade parked on the deserted sidewalk, Quy Anh broke the ignition lock and drove away. Thanks to the GPS-equipped car, the vehicle owner discovered and chased him, and asked the traffic police to stop and arrest him.
