French police foil plot to attack police and soldiers
According to Reuters, on December 22, French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said that the country's police had prevented two people from carrying out an attack on police and soldiers in the central city of Orleans.

According to Mr. Cazeneuve, two French citizens, aged 20 and 24, are being detained for questioning.
Both are believed to be in contact with another Frenchman who may be in Syria, who is suspected of being the mastermind.
Minister Cazeneuve added that French authorities have prevented 10 attacks in the country this year./.
