Xinjiang police kill 14 terrorists

Police in China's northwestern Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region killed 14 terrorists on the evening of December 15 after they were attacked while pursuing the suspects, Xinhua news agency reported on December 16.

Local police sources said that police in So Phu district were searching for suspects in a village in the county's Khac Thap prefecture when they were attacked by thugs throwing explosives and wielding knives.
