Chinese police shot dead several terrorists
According to Xinhua News Agency and AFP, on February 14, Chinese authorities shot dead “several terrorists” in an attack in Xinjiang.
It is the latest violent incident in the country's restive far west, home to a majority of Uighur Muslims.

Xinhua reported that “several terrorists were shot dead by police in a terrorist attack on the afternoon of February 14." However, the agency did not provide further details.
Xinjiang police and information officials declined to be interviewed by phone./.
