Emergency treatment for patients with cholecystitis in Truong Sa Lon

On the morning of August 7, Dr. Phan Dinh Mung, Head of Truong Sa Lon Infirmary (Truong Sa Island District, Khanh Hoa), said that the infirmary doctors had just saved the life of patient Nguyen Thien Binh (Binh Dinh) who had liver pain due to severe toxic cholecystitis.



The patient is being treated on Truong Sa Lon Island.

Previously, on the afternoon of August 6, Mr. Binh was taken by fishing boat BD 9584 to Truong Sa Lon island in a state of severe fever, pain spreading to the back, accompanied by nausea, oliguria (little urination), yellow eyes, etc.

After accurately diagnosing the patient with liver colic due to severe toxic cholecystitis, the infirmary doctors administered IV fluids, injected antibiotics, pain relievers, and muscle relaxants, and closely monitored the patient./.
