The workshop was held on September 8; attended by representatives of provincial departments, branches, districts, cities, towns and businesses.

The workshop was organized by the Department of Science and Technology of Nghe An in coordination with FPT Distribution Company Limited, IBM Vietnam, Cisco Vietnam and Hong Ha Trading Joint Stock Company, attracting more than 100 delegates who are leaders of state agencies, units and small and medium enterprises operating in Nghe An province and neighboring areas. The workshop heard representatives of the units share about the latest technology applications in data storage and security; introduce information security solutions, avoid damage caused by virus attacks; at the same time, update new and optimal technology solutions in the operation, management and development process of agencies and enterprises in the digital age.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology assessed: The workshop is an opportunity for state management agencies and organizations and enterprises operating in the field of information technology and communications to have the opportunity to meet, exchange, grasp the current situation, introduce their activities and capabilities, seek cooperation, introduce new technical and technological solutions, and link to promote the development and application of information technology and communications.

The application of technology for agencies and enterprises also creates momentum for promoting the application of information technology to build e-Government based on modern infrastructure.

Through the workshop, the Department of Science and Technology will support initiatives applied to the practices of agencies and enterprises, aiming to promote the application of information technology in the management and operation of agencies and enterprises.
