Couple with 36-year age gap welcomes first child
A 61-year-old man in the UK has a child with his 25-year-old wife, who is even younger than his three children.
Carly Potter from Suffolk gave birth to her son on Christmas Day - three years after she and husband Billy, 61, got married.
The couple met when Carly was 18. She broke down and Billy offered to fix it. But the romance didn't begin until six months later when Carly started working at a bar run by Billy, who had three children from a previous marriage.
In late 2014, Billy proposed to Carly and they got married in August 2015. "I think he found me attractive. After work, I asked him to give me a ride home a few times and that's how we started," Carly toldNews2.

The two have been criticised for their relationship. Many have accused Carly of attacking Billy for money. "We tried to hide it because of the age gap, because he has three children, but people noticed," Carly added.
As for Billy, he said he had no intention of getting married again and had made it clear to Carly from the beginning of their relationship. But gradually he realized his love and wanted to be with her. Above all, after marriage, he also wanted her to have children like other women.
Carly's mother, Linda Northcott, accepted her daughter's unusual relationship from the start. "I have a beautiful little grandchild now, I'm so lucky," she said.
