Coffee has the effect of curing skin cancer.

There is growing scientific evidence that drinking coffee, especially for women, has a positive effect on the treatment of some forms of skin cancer.

The above conclusion, made by scientists from the American Cancer Prevention Research Center, is attracting attention worldwide.

The information, posted on ABC online on October 25, added that women who drink more than three cups of coffee a day will reduce their risk of developing melanoma (BCC), a form of skin cancer, by at least 20%. The rate will be much lower for those who drink less than one cup a month.

Meanwhile, for men, the rate is only 9% with the same number of drinks.

Researcher Fengju Song of Harvard Medical School added that after examining nearly 1 million new cases of BCC infection each year in the US, he discovered that daily dietary factors have a significant impact on the formation of skin cancer.

“Coffee is an important option to prevent BCC,” Ms. Song emphasized.

BCC is a common syndrome that causes skin cancer in the community and regular coffee drinking is considered to help fight against two common forms of the disease, squamous cell carcinoma or melanoma.

Basal cell carcinoma is a non-melanoma skin cancer and is the most common type of skin cancer worldwide. Up to 75% of people with skin cancer have basal cell carcinoma.

Previous studies have also shown that coffee drinkers tend to reduce other cancers such as breast, uterine, prostate and bowel cancer, however these beneficial effects do not apply to people who drink decaffeinated coffee./.
